Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Ted Hodgkinson as Head of Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Mr Hodgkinson joins the group from Aon Asia, where he was Executive VP and Chief Broking Officer.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions head Rudolf Flunger says the region offers great potential due to its economic dynamism and relatively low commercial insurance penetration.

He says Mr Hodgkinson will bring with him a strong network of clients and contacts to build the business.
