Sura Plant and Equipment has been launched following the rebranding of CEMAC, which has been operating since 1994.

The move is the tenth in a program of streamlining brand names across the various agencies that make up the AUB subsidiary.

Sura Plant and Equipment National Manager Stephen Borg says CEMAC had a long and successful history.

“Sura Plant and Equipment will continue to build on this, provide the same exceptional service, and further, the move to Sura will only strengthen our value proposition to brokers,” he said.

Plant and Equipment joins other specialty niches within Sura including Hospitality, Travel/A&H, Professional Risks, Commercial, Labour Hire, Engineering, Construction, Taxis, Marine, and Film and Entertainment.

“We’d also like to impress upon brokers that we continue to offer automatic contractual liability cover for our plant and equipment risks,” said newly appointed Sura MD Angie Zissis.

“We have also added into our offering, as a response from brokers, an optional extension to cover financial liability arising from a liability occurrence.”
