Suncorp has opened its sixth branch in Melbourne after growing its Victorian customer base by 60% in five years.

The Collins Street branch will cater for banking, insurance and wealth management services.

Suncorp says that growth prompted the company to set up another outlet for locals seeking an alternative to the big four banks.
