Suncorp reveals local leadership line-up
The newly installed CEO of Suncorp’s Insurance Australia division, Anthony Day, has finalised his senior leadership team.
Mr Day, who was previously commercial insurance CEO, now has oversight of all Suncorp insurance operations in Australia – personal, commercial and life – as part of a restructure under new group CEO Michael Cameron.
Mr Day’s leadership team comprises:
- Darren O’Connell, EGM Personal and Commercial Portfolio and Products (previously EGM commercial portfolio and underwriting management, commercial insurance)
- Chris McHugh, EGM Personal Injury Portfolio and Products (previously EGM statutory portfolio and underwriting management)
- Matt Pearson, EGM Property and Specialty Claims (previously EGM commercial claims)
- Andrew Mulvogue, EGM Motor Claims (previously EGM distribution, commercial insurance and legacy simplification)
- Jane Stafford, EGM Personal Injury Claims (previously EGM statutory claims)
- Lisa Harrison, EGM Insurance Operations (previously EGM customer, product and pricing, personal insurance)
- Andrew Huszczo, Appointed Actuary (previously appointed actuary general insurance)
- Michael Miller, CFO Insurance (previously CFO commercial insurance).
As previously announced, Gary Dransfield, formerly CEO personal insurance, has been made CEO Customer Platforms.
Mr Dransfield’s leadership team comprises:
- Lynne Sutherland, EGM Branches and Stores (unchanged)
- Alli Smith, EGM Contact Centres (unchanged)
- Andrew Mair, EGM Intermediaries (previously EGM distribution, life)
- Tony Wessling, EGM Platform Optimisation (previously EGM product and portfolio, life)
- Adrian Kitchin, MD Resilium (unchanged).
Suncorp’s new operating model consists of three business units: Banking & Wealth, Insurance Australia and Insurance New Zealand.
