Suncorp revamps NZ leadership
Suncorp has reorganised its business in New Zealand as part of a wider shake-up under new Group CEO Michael Cameron.
A string of new appointments aim to create a more customer-oriented business and bring sustained long-term growth.
“We will take our customer-centric approach to the next level by structuring the business in a way that creates value for the customer, while achieving growth,” Suncorp New Zealand CEO Paul Smeaton said.
Last month Suncorp announced its operating model will be divided into three business units: Banking & Wealth, Insurance Australia and Insurance New Zealand.
Each unit will be responsible for product design and manufacturing, claims management, delivery of “industry-leading experiences” and statutory entities.
The new appointments in New Zealand are:
- Nadine Tereora, EGM Customer Experience
- Adam Heath, EGM Portfolio and Product
- Terry Gaze, EGM New Zealand Technology, Data and Labs
- Cris Knell, EGM Distribution
- Catherine Dixon, EGM People Experience
- Jimmy Higgins, EGM Claims
- Nigel Edmiston, Chief Risk Officer.
Adrian Tulloch remains MD of Vero Liability Insurance and Peter Brown will become CFO until the end of this financial year, before retiring.
