Start-ups Eggy and Paypa Plane have been selected to participate in Suncorp’s inaugural Digital Incubator Program.

They were chosen from a shortlist of seven candidates that made it to the final round after a selection process involving more than 50 applicants.

The 90-day incubator program at the insurer’s Brisbane Digital Labs aims to provide a platform for fintechs to test and validate their ideas.

“I’m thrilled that we are working with some truly brilliant businesses to foster innovation in Queensland and within our industry,” Chief Information Officer Sarah Harland said.
