Suncorp opens second concept store
Suncorp has chosen the Brisbane suburb of Carindale as the site of its second concept store, after last December introducing the retail format at Sydney’s Parramatta Westfield centre.
The store, which brings together services and products from across the company’s brands, also draws on experience gained from the group’s Brisbane city “co-creation lab”, and is influenced by the approach of international retailers such as Apple.
Suncorp CEO Customer Platforms Gary Dransfield says the store connects customers to new technologies and digital solutions and helps them buy insurance.
“The store’s test and learn environment also enables us to trial new concepts with customers and make changes based on their feedback before introducing them in other locations,” he said.
The Carindale store is open seven days and its offering includes workshops and seminars, Wi-Fi and refreshments.
