Suncorp opens Adelaide store
Suncorp has opened a tri-branded shopfront in Adelaide as it expands in the region and prepares for changes to SA’s compulsory third party (CTP) scheme.
CEO Customer Marketplace Pip Marlow says the Grenfell Centre store, which highlights the AAMI, Suncorp and Apia brands, is a first for the group and leverages insights from its national network.
“As our customers’ needs evolve, we need to change how we serve and support them – this store is just one example of how we’re doing that,” Ms Marlow said.
Suncorp’s two-storey flagship Discovery Store opened in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall last year.
It also has concept stores in Parramatta and Carindale, and several co-branded stores in addition to bank branches.
The Adelaide outlet will serve customers and host workshops and seminars for the community.
AAMI is one of four government-approved CTP insurers in SA, which will soon allow motorists to select between providers.
“With changes to the CTP scheme due to come into effect from July 1, the opening of the store means we can provide additional support for motorists,” Ms Marlow said.
