Suncorp New Zealand has appointed Tim Buckett as CFO to succeed Peter Brown, who will retire at the end of the financial year.

Mr Buckett joined Suncorp in 2007 and has held several senior roles including GM lending customer management and EGM customer development. He is currently Brisbane-based EGM Group Strategy and Corporate Development.

He is a former executive director of the Australian Payments Clearing Association.

As CFO Mr Buckett will oversee all actuarial, financial management, strategy, business performance management and procurement services.
