Suncorp announced today that Adam Bennett has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO), and will start on July 1, subject to regulatory approvals.

Mr Bennett joins from Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he was most recently Group Executive Business and Private Banking. He also served as CIO for Retail and Business Banking.

“Technology is pivotal to delivering our group strategy and the operational, product and customer opportunities we are seeking,” Suncorp Group CEO Steve Johnston said.

“I am confident Adam’s deep experience equips him well to deliver significant value.”
