Suncorp CIO Matt Pancino has resigned to join Commonwealth as CIO for its retail and wealth divisions.

“I would like to recognise and thank Matt for his contribution over the past five years and wish him well in his future,” Suncorp CEO and MD Michael Cameron said.

Mr Pancino was instrumental in delivering Suncorp’s simplification program and technology projects.

An internal and external search is under way for a new CIO.

Mr Pancino will leave at the end of this month.

Chief Transformation Officer Clayton Herbert will fill the role until a permanent replacement is found.
