Suncorp has made a $100,000 donation to the Red Cross-led bushfire recovery efforts in NSW and Queensland.

The money will go towards providing care and support services to residents who have lost their homes and need temporary shelter.

Suncorp will also double the donations its employees make to support bushfire-affected communities.

“We will continue to be there for as long as it takes for these communities to rebuild,” Suncorp Insurance CEO Gary Dransfield said.

In October Suncorp donated $20,000 to boost the resources of fire crews in NSW and Queensland.
