Suncorp is streamlining its intermediated commercial operations to provide brokers with a greater product range and more efficient service.

EGM Intermediated Distribution Anthony Day says Suncorp’s revamped integrated broker service model will see a single business development manager take care of all Vero and Suncorp commercial policies, with specialists continuing to focus on GIO workers’ compensation policies.

He says brokers will benefit from the insurer’s “greater scale and diversity” and increased risk appetite, and Vero has also reorganised its “first response” claims unit.
