Suncorp announces management changes…
Suncorp has made several changes to its senior management tier after Personal Insurance Group Executive Robert Belleville confirmed his intention to retire.
Mr Belleville, who formerly ran major motor insurer AAMI, will be replaced in the role by Bernadette Inglis. She previously ran the Suncorp strategy, people and corporate services division.
The two will work together for three months before Mr Belleville takes on consultancy work for his remaining nine months at the organisation.
Mr Belleville says he delayed his retirement to help Suncorp through the Promina merger. “Now that the integration and brand alignment planning is well advanced, I’ve decided to take a step back,” he said.
Suncorp last week announced it will merge its retail and business banking operations.
Retail bank Group Executive David Forster will lead the combined banking business, with former business bank head Stuart McDonald moving to the role vacated by Ms Inglis.
