Stream CEO moves on

Stream CEO Gavin Dixon has left the company following the liquidation of the Australian business.

The claims service company, which still has operational businesses in New Zealand and the UK, ran into trouble late last year following the failed acquisition of loss adjuster Cerno.

Chairman Larry Case told insuranceNEWS.com.au Mr Dixon will not be replaced.

“His position has been eliminated,” he said. “We have three GMs reporting straight to the board: Jim Pittman in the UK, Katherine Woollard in New Zealand and Kate Middleton looking after what is left in Australia.”

The New Zealand operation has rebranded as Symetri, to distance itself from the Australian business.

Mr Dixon is now CEO of foreign pensions transfer specialist Britannia Financial Services in Auckland.
