Steadfast Group says the London-based specialist wholesale business it acquired in December will be rebranded as HWS Specialty. 

The HW Wood business, founded in 1982, has been a Lloyd’s broker since 2003. It has a focus on wholesale, retail and reinsurance solutions for clients in international marine and cargo, property, and fine art and specie, plus other specialty areas. 

The Steadfast placements team – which gives network brokers in Australasia access to London and other specialty markets – will also adopt the HWS Specialty identity as the service offering to Steadfast networks globally is bolstered.
