Steadfast IRS has appointed Harry Georgoulas as COO.

He joins the Sydney-based company – the first Steadfast broker hub – after a 21-year career with JLT, where he was senior placement manager and earned the nickname “Go-To Harry”, because he specialised in hard-to-place risks.

Mr Georgoulas told insuranceNEWS.com.au he is ready for a change and looks forward to uniting and taking forward the three businesses that form Steadfast IRS.

Steadfast hubs combine similar businesses to gain back-office efficiencies.

IRS was formed from the merger of Indemnity Corporation, Wagland Salter & Associates and DMA Insurance.

Mr Georgoulas sees Steadfast IRS developing middle-market business, dealing with owners who need specialised advice and risk management.
