Steadfast begins offering dedicated workplace risk management services

Steadfast Group has rebranded its Work Health Options business to Steadfast Workplace Risk, a move it says is aimed at helping clients manage workers’ compensation challenges in the covid environment.

Work Health Options was under the broking network’s Steadfast Risk Group division.

Steadfast Workplace Risk will offer broking, claims and risk management service to assist corporate and SME clients.

“The impact of covid on the work, health and safety aspects of Australian businesses has presented many challenges for clients,” Steadfast CEO and MD Robert Kelly said.

“The formation of the Steadfast Workplace Risk offering will play a key role in expanding the depth and breadth of workplace risks we offer our clients, through this crisis and beyond.”

Jason Thompson will lead Steadfast Workplace Risk as MD and CEO. He has over 30 years of national workers’ compensation and general insurance broking experience including as MD of Work Health Options.

Steadfast says Mr Thompson will be responsible for delivering the team’s collective expertise to clients.

“The Steadfast Workplace Risk offering has been created to provide sustainable and practical work health and safety options to give greater confidence and peace of mind to clients, as we all continue to navigate through the current environment,” Mr Thompson said.

Steadfast says the rebranded business complements the Steadfast Risk Group’s suite of services and comprises of three components.

They are infrastructure support such as an injury hotline; workplace risk assessment of performance reporting including a premium, claims and performance analysis over a five-year period; and ongoing specialty consulting services.
