Specialist sports underwriting agency Sportscover has introduced a digital platform that lets brokers obtain instant quotes, bind risks and download policy documentation online – marking a first for Australiam sports insurance.

Underwriting Manager Jarrod Bell says the Broker Arena platform will dramatically reduce the time it takes to place sports insurance.

“By launching Broker Arena we are tackling the key issues mentioned by brokers in the sports insurance market of slow quote turnaround and poor service,” he said.

“This system will assist brokers by providing quick quotes and instant documents to clients.”

It follows a number of recent innovations from Sportscover, including a website revamp, the introduction of live streaming service My Sport Live and the Sportscover Vital risk management tool for clubs.
