Sportscover launches new syndicate
Sports underwriting agency Sportscover has launched a Lloyd’s syndicate in a bid to offer specialised insurance solutions to the amateur sporting sector.
MD Peter Nash says Sportscover Syndicate 3334 will allow the company, which has offices in the UK, Australia, Vanuatu and NZ, to achieve substantial growth.
“The staff and management of Sportscover are looking forward to this new phase for our company and the opportunities it will create for Sportscover to further expand across the world,” he said.
The company has been in the sports insurance market for 20 years. Mr Nash says the syndicate will offer a broad range of amateur sports insurance products, such as personal accident, public liability, property and contingency cover.
The syndicate began accepting business on August 14 with Argenta Syndicate Management Limited as managing agent.
