AIG Australia will become Sports Underwriting’s new underwriting partner, replacing Great Lakes Australia from April 1.

The agreement will cover all product types in Sports Underwriting’s core areas of sport, leisure and licensed clubs, and applies to new business and renewals after the start date.

Sports Underwriting MD Steve Gilbert says the company is “thrilled” with its new underwriter.

“Globally, AIG is a significant supporter of sport and through our partnership with AIG we looking forward to further strengthening our position in the Australian market,” he said.
