Sound Insurance has acquired fellow Melbourne-based Insurance Advisernet authorised representative (AR) ALH Insurance Services.

ALH will be rebranded as Sound Insurance and its office in Docklands will be managed by newly appointed director Mark O’Sullivan, who was previously a director with MOS Insurance Services, also an Insurance Advisernet AR.

Mr O’Sullivan will move his clients to Sound Insurance.

ALH Account Manager John Pappas and broker Dan Saitta will continue working in the Docklands office, and director Anne Hartree will relocate to the Gold Coast to open a Sound Insurance office later this year.

“We are very excited to welcome Ms Hartree and her team to the Sound Insurance family as we continue our growth plans,” director Morris Alessi said. “We are also delighted to have Mr O’Sullivan join as we deliver the highest standards of advice to our clients.”

Sound Insurance was set up in 2012 by Mr Alessi and fellow former Marsh executive Simon Feldman. It offers a range of products including professional indemnity, marine and hull, directors’ and officers’, corporate travel and industrial special risk.
