Software helps Vero speed up motor repairs
Vero has started using a cloud-based system that will reduce time spent processing motor repairs and claims.
The AudaNet platform enables Suncorp-certified repairers to assess vehicles on-site instead of sending them to the national assessment network RepairLink.
“Businesses can’t afford to have vehicles off the road for too long, so it’s critical that repairs and claims are finalised as quickly as possible,” Suncorp Commercial Insurance EGM Commercial Claims Matt Pearson said.
“This initiative is another example of Vero taking action to meet customer needs.”
AudaNet calculates repair estimates using the latest data on manufacturer times and methods.
Vero conducted an extensive trial involving more than 20,000 repairs before implementing the system this month in Queensland.
The company aims to complete nationwide implementation next month.
“Vehicles are increasingly becoming more complex and technologically advanced,” Mr Pearson said.
“Customers and brokers expect that insurers and repairers are able to adapt to these changes and continue to provide a high-quality repair process.”
