Snowball shuffles Suncorp’s executive pack

New Suncorp CEO Patrick Snowball this morning announced major changes to his senior management team.

Mark Milliner, currently Group Executive Commercial Insurance, will move across to run the Personal Insurance business. He replaces Bernadette Inglis, who is leaving the company after 15 months in the role.

Anthony Day, at present the Executive GM Intermediated Distribution, has been promoted to Group Executive Commercial Insurance.

Mr Snowball says he has also identified a need to recruit a senior leader with responsibility for Suncorp’s human resources processes, with the role being elevated to group executive level.

As a result, the current Group Executive Strategy, People and Corporate Services, Stuart McDonald, will leave Suncorp.

Group Executives David Foster (Bank), Geoff Summerhayes (Life), Jeff Smith (Business Technology) and Roger Bell (Vero New Zealand) have been confirmed in their roles.

Mr Snowball says internal and external searches for the human resources role, as well as for the vacant CFO and CRO positions, are well advanced.
