SLE Group has promoted Tony Carter to Chief Underwriting Officer.

Dr Carter has been the group’s risk analyst and statistician since 2009 and was a consultant to the company for six years before that.

He will be responsible for compliance, production pipelines, risk selection, policy conditions and premium pricing, education and reporting.

MD Brad French says Dr Carter brings a “wealth of knowledge” to his new position.

“Tony has a unique blend of academic and analytical skills, which is vital to this new role,” Mr French said.
