Senior staff quit Lumley Marine
Lumley Marine & Logistics has lost two of its most senior marine insurance managers with the resignation of Robert Hammersley and Neil Hiller.
QBE has confirmed it has appointed Mr Hammersley and Mr Hiller to manage QBE Australia’s new Marine Specialty Risks division.
Three other Lumley Marine staff have also left the business.
Mr Hammersley and Mr Hiller joined Lumley in 2006 to head its new marine division.
Lumley’s former National Technical Manager Paul Skene will run the marine operation while replacements are found.
Lumley CEO David Matcham says Mr Skene’s “10 years of industry experience and technical knowledge in cargo and carriers is complemented by his increasing experience in the hull and liability business”.
