Claims manager Sedgwick has named Philip van Zyl as the next CEO of its New Zealand business, replacing Darryl Cowan.

Mr van Zyl – previously the NZ northern regional manager – will take up the role in January.

Over the sixth-month transition, Mr van Zyl will serve as Deputy CEO until Mr Cowan becomes Chairman. Mr van Zyl has been with Sedgwick and its predecessor companies for 17 years in various senior positions.
