AAMI has won an Australian Safer Communities Award for its work with the Victorian State Emergency Service (SES).

The insurer provided protective clothing and rescue equipment, as well as running joint community safety campaigns and offering discounts on AAMI comprehensive car insurance to SES personnel.

AAMI has extended its sponsorship partnership with the SES until 2008.
