Rural & General advertises for franchisees

Rural & General Insurance Broking (RGIB) is offering franchise opportunities across Australia in a drive to expand its business.

From October 1 the Sydney-based company – which has a history of litigation with regulators – will offer franchise opportunities to the public as part of a package that will include training and support as well as access to the company’s panel of insurance underwriters and companies.

Specialising in business insurance, business-related services and products and specialist insurance products, RGIB says franchisees will have the opportunity to work from home while benefiting from its strategic planning and support.

With what it claims is a “vast internet marketing network unique in the industry”, RGIB says in a statement that it plans to build brand awareness and lead generation while working with franchisees to develop frontline marketing programs in their business area.

“Becoming an RGIB franchisee will give you the potential to grow personally, professionally and financially with the added advantages of owning and operating your own business,” the company says.

“RGIB franchisees can reasonably rely on continued trends for businesses to increase their reliance on insurance through structured risk management programs thus fuelling growth even in difficult economic times.”
