RIBA goes national
The Regional Insurance Brokers Association (RIBA) has expanded its membership to non-Victorian and non-regional members.
Perth-based NAS Insurance Brokers and the Melbourne branch of Miller & Associates are the newest additions to RIBA’s membership base, and the first outside its rural Victorian constituency.
NAS – which has 50 offices around Australia – is expecting a range of benefits from RIBA membership, according to National Development Manager Koert Slik.
“We will work towards creating an environment of like-minded professional brokers, keen to see the changing insurance landscape as an opportunity to succeed, not as a threat to their existence.”
RIBA Executive Officer Bill Friend says the organisation is courting potential members across Australia. RIBA’s recent relocation to Melbourne has improved its ability to attract new members who have not been members of a cluster group.
