Quantum Underwriting Agencies has appointed Neil Sheppard as a director as it looks to expand its offering.

Mr Sheppard was most recently executive director at ProRisk, and has more than 20 years’ underwriting experience including spells at CGU, AIG and Chubb.

Company Director Alex Thornton says Quantum is a market leader in specie insurance but is now looking to add traditional insurance products.

“Neil brings a wealth of experience in financial lines as well as general insurance,” he said. “We look forward to rolling out a broader product offering in the months ahead and are delighted to have someone of Neil’s calibre join our business.”

Quantum’s head office is in WA but it also has offices in NSW and Victoria. Mr Sheppard is based in Victoria.
