Steadfast-owned QIB Group Holdings has appointed Andrew Swaney as GM for Far North Queensland and rebranded its subsidiaries JVIB and Bill Owen as Regional Insurance Brokers.

QIB says the rebrand provides benefits for customers including access to a network of 12 additional offices across the state, increased market leverage and a broader range of covers tailored to the region.

Mr Swaney, most recently Marsh regional manager for north Queensland, has more than 35 years’ industry experience.

He will lead a team of more than 35 staff across Cairns, Mareeba, Atherton and Innisfail.
