QBE has reshuffled its senior management, with its Australian Operations MD Raymond Jones moving to Group GM Business Development.

Vince McLenaghan, currently MD of the Pacific Asia/Central Europe Division, will now add the group’s Australian operations to his responsibilities.

The moves were described yesterday by CEO Frank O’Halloran as “designed to maximise the conversion of the increasing number of business opportunities presented to QBE around the world”.

He said the new appointments will also enable QBE to obtain “further synergies” by integrating two division head-office structures.

Terry Ibbotson, currently GM of QBE Commercial in Australia, will become COO for Australian Operations.

Singapore-based GM Mike Goodwin is to become GM for QBE’s Asian operations.
