QBE has appointed Michael Ford as Group CFO to succeed Pat Regan, who is now CEO of Australian and New Zealand Operations.

Mr Ford, who is currently Deputy CFO with the Commonwealth Bank, will work from the group’s Sydney head office. He will join the group in September.

He has previously held senior roles at MLC and Lendlease Group.

The recruitment of Mr Ford means Mr Regan will relinquish his group CFO responsibilities and step down from the QBE board.
