PSC Connect launches in NZ
Australian authorised representative network PSC Connect has launched in New Zealand to focus on corporate and commercial business.
The company has established a head office in Auckland and is recruiting for authorised representatives.
David Penfold, formerly QBE NZ’s national business development manager, has been appointed National Manager for PSC Connect NZ.
PSC Group MD Paul Dwyer says there are opportunities in New Zealand, particularly considering its regulatory environment.
“There’s likely to be more regulation, and that suits this model,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “The advantage of the AR model is that people get to maintain ownership of their own portfolios and work in the manner they want, from home or their own office.
“We see it as an expanding model, not just in Australia but potentially around the world.”
PSC directors and about 50 guests attended the launch last week during the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand conference.
