PSC Insurance Group has appointed London-based corporate lawyer Mel Sims as an independent non-executive director.

Mr Sims has extensive insurance industry experience, gained during 27 years as a partner with international law firm DLA Piper, according to PSC.

“The appointment reflects PSC’s commitment to its UK-based businesses and will strengthen our capability in this important market,” it says in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange.
