Promina announces new exec line-up

Promina has announced a new executive line-up that will see the diversified financial services provider managed by an executive management team of six.

The new line-up includes: Mike Wilkins, CEO and MD; Roger Bell, CEO Intermediated General Insurance New Zealand; Robert Belleville; CEO Direct General Insurance Australia and New Zealand; Harold Bentley CFO, Dennis Fox, CEO Financial Services Australia and New Zealand; and Duncan West, CEO Intermediated General Insurance Australia.

While Promina was very coy when asked about who were the winners and who the losers, it’s easy enough to notice that the previous upper management group will drop from 10 to six from September 1.

Those no longer on the second-to-top rung are CEO Asset Management Michael Good, CIO Rob Flanagan, CEO Corporate and Strategic Services John English and CEO Direct Insurances David Richards.

Mr Wilkins says the changes will enable Promina “to continue to realise its potential” and help position the group for “future growth, founded on our successful strategy of specialisation and focus”.

“As a further step in the evolution of our strategy, responsibility for the delivery of value-add group-wide activities will be allocated across the executive team members,” he said.

“Entrusting responsibility for these group activities across the business integrates them at an operational level, ensuring each part of the group collectively owns and champions the group value proposition.”
