Petcover Group appoints first COO
Petcover Group has appointed Mo Munir to the newly created COO role as the insurer continues its international expansion.
Petcover earlier this year purchased Brooks Braithwaite (Sussex) Limited in the UK from ManyPets Ltd, formerly Bought by Many, and MD Doug Ford says the firm is constantly looking for expansion and growth opportunities.
“With this in mind, and the ever-increasing corporate governance requirements being placed upon our companies, the board have been looking to strengthen its operational skills and to ensure consistency and standardisations across its whole operation,” he said.
Mr Ford says Mr Munir has many years of operations experience, working at the Allianz animal health division and at Petplan UK. His appointment at Petcover Group is effective today.
“This is a first step in our overall review and vision for our group of companies in the ever-changing world we live in,” Mr Ford said. “The board will continue to monitor the companies’ progress and will adjust the structure in line with the demands of the marketplace and the company’s on-going strategic aims.”
Petcover Group was founded by Doug and Gwen Ford, who have four decades experience as dog show judges, breed experts and pet insurance specialists.
