Paradine goes to LawCover
The LawCover group of companies has appointed former Marsh Asia-Pacific Chairman Terry Paradine as Chairman. LawCover provides compulsory professional indemnity insurance for solicitors in NSW and the ACT, as well as optional top-up insurance.
Apart from being the former chairman of the Asia-Pacific Region at Marsh & McLennan Companies, where he was responsible for the parent company overview of the group’s businesses in 14 countries, Mr Paradine is also a former CEO for Marsh in the UK and Chairman and CEO of Marsh in Australia.
In April, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority granted LawCover Insurance an insurance licence, the first to be given to an Australian scheme based on the legal profession.
Mr Paradine replaces retiring Chairman John Staveley, who has been Chairman since 2002.
