‘Original insurtech’ Ebix Australia turns 30
Insurance technology provider Ebix Australia will celebrate three decades of operation on Friday.
Ebix says it is “one of the original insurtechs” and has been at the forefront of cutting-edge technology solutions for the insurance industry since its establishment in 1993.
Its suite includes Ebix Evolution, OneOffice, Sunrise Exchange, WinBEAT and the soon to be released WinBEAT NEXT.
MD Leon d’Apice says a customer-centric approach and understanding the unique challenges and requirements of clients is the key to success.
“By fostering strong relationships and providing personalised support, Ebix Australia has built a reputation for delivering solutions that make a tangible difference in the daily operations of insurance professionals,” Mr d’Apice said.
Solutions that have been developed specifically for the Australian insurance market have been adopted by global clients, from global brokers through regional and local agent operations.
Ebix says it understands the complex requirements of the market and has a team of experienced business consultants and project managers with a successful track record of system implementations.
“Our goal is to provide a software solution that is futureproof and one that will grow with you as your business expands to provide a sound information processing platform,” Mr d’Apice said.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Ebix Inc, which was founded in 1976, Ebix Australia combines with offices in New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Dubai, India, Singapore, UK and the US, providing insurance and technology support and consultancy to thousands of customers on six continents.
The company has more than 1000 client sites in the Asia Pacific region.
Locally, Ebix Australia has streamlined operations, improved efficiency, and enhanced profitability for insurance businesses, it says.
"As it embarks on the next chapter of its journey, the company looks forward to continuing its mission of providing game-changing solutions that empower insurance businesses to thrive in a dynamic and digital world.”
