Online retailer enters insurance space with Hollard
Listed online retailer Kogan.com will start selling home and other personal insurance products under a three-year partnership with Hollard.
Hollard will underwrite the products, which will be branded as Kogan Insurance, and the retailer will earn commissions from the sale of policies.
“We are excited to partner with Hollard to launch Kogan Insurance,” Kogan Executive Director David Shafer said. “We know Aussies want a way to get premium insurance coverage on a budget.”
Hollard CEO Richard Enthoven says the partnership “represents a great opportunity to deliver more value to Kogan customers”.
Kogan.com will offer home, contents, landlord, car and travel insurance. It already sells a wide range of consumer items including books, appliances, toys and computers.
