Wesfarmers-owned OAMPS has acquired Dubbo-based Lloyd Walker Insurance Brokers and Austnet Group in WA.

CEO Keith McIvor says the Austnet acquisition builds on OAMPS’ market presence in WA through the “experience and expertise of the Austnet team while delivering innovative offerings to new and existing clients as part of a major national business”.

He also says the NSW deal demonstrates the company’s “commitment to maintaining the local presence and expertise of Lloyd and his team in Dubbo”.

“These transactions are in line with our strategy to selectively expand our broking network by making capital available only for acquisitions where strong synergies with staff and clients are identified,” Mr McIvor said.

“It allows OAMPS to better serve its many existing clients in central-west NSW and WA as well as create a platform for growth.”
