OAMPS seeks life partners

OAMPS Insurance Brokers has ramped up its commitment to life insurance with plans to recruit up to 20 independent adviser partners within the next year.

Head of Financial Management Brian Jones told insuranceNEWS.com.au the broker intends to offer clients a “holistic suite” of insurance products.

“Our philosophy is quite clear,” he said. “We want to help clients be financially protected from any insurable event.”

The broker is on the lookout for advisers interested in joining the group’s life insurance broking network. Currently 20 of the 28 OAMPS branches do not have a dedicated life insurance business.

National Manager Marketing Nick Hill says new business partners will work closely with the local OAMPS office.

“Depending on individual circumstances, some advisers will be based in the OAMPS offices and others will remain in their own premises,” he said.
