OAMPS Insurance Brokers has linked up with HSBC Bank Australia in a bid to offer insurance solutions to the bank’s commercial customers.

COO David Wyner says the status of OAMPS as sole representative of the Assurex network – a global risk management, commercial insurance and employee benefits brokerage group – gives HSBC clients access to advice and services in a range of markets.

HSBC Australia says the move – which is effective immediately – is a natural product extension for its customers. Senior Manager Insurance and Investments Geoff Farr says the agreement will provide customers with asset protection while reducing their liabilities.

He says cover will range from straightforward protection and employee benefit solutions to “bespoke brokered insurance solutions”.
