OAMPS has continued on its acquiring way, completing its eighth transaction since March.

This time it has taken control of Victorian business Madden and Associates Insurance Brokers. Group CEO Tony Robinson says the Ballarat-based operation will add to his company’s regional network. There will be no staff losses, and it will trade as the 26^th OAMPS branch.

Former business owner and now manager of the Ballarat branch, Trevor Madden, says the market strength of OAMPS will be a huge benefit to his current and future clients.

Mr Robinson says the Madden acquisition is just one of several recent transactions aimed at developing growth through niche markets. “We are expanding our presence in these niche markets through the acquisition of businesses that have a proven record of service delivery and profitability.”
