The pace of mergers, acquisition and alliances at Melbourne-based diversified insurance group OAMPS hasn’t slowed at all since CEO Tony Robinson came on board.

As it continues with its growth strategy, OAMPS has acquired 18 general insurance and financial services businesses in Australia. 

This week’s acquisition is Adelaide-based Metropolitan Insurance Brokers. The business will bring $1.5 million of extra annual premium revenue to OAMPS’ Adelaide branch.

The company recently purchased the large general insurance brokerage of Peter Sellers to strengthen its UK operations.
