OAMPS has acquired SA broker Stuart Mortimer & Associates, which specialises in licensed post offices and newsagents. The business is expected to add about 1,300 clients and $3 million in annual premiums to OAMPS’ Adelaide branch.

The brokerage was founded by Stuart and Roslyn Mortimer in 1981. OAMPS CEO Tony Robinson says the couple “haven’t taken the easy road, and have built a business based on value-added services in more difficult areas that others have steered away from”.
