OAMPS’ buying spree continues with major Sydney broker Halliday & Nicholas joining the diversified insurance group. This is the first acquisition in OAMPS’ North Sydney Corporate branch.

The three directors of the brokerage – Brock and Cheryl Halliday and Tony Sykes – will continue to manage their commercial portfolio, which has more than 3500 clients and generates $7 million in annual general insurance premiums.

OAMPS CEO Tony Robinson said the new acquisition will assist OAMPS in further developing itself as a major force in the Sydney market. “This is the beginning of what will become a very significant component of OAMPS Insurance Brokers activities in Australia,” he said.
