Steadfast New Zealand network members Abbott Insurance Brokers and IC Frith and Associates have merged.

The combined group will trade under the Abbott brand, with eight offices nationwide from Auckland to Dunedin supported by a head office in Christchurch.

Steadfast EGM Asia, New Zealand and Direct Allan Reynolds says the two groups have a similar history, culture and positioning within the market, and complement each other in geographical spread, size and scale.

“Worldwide, we’re seeing new and emerging risks impacting everyday businesses and households,” he said.

IC Frith MD Anthony Jones says there will be no job losses and the combined team of 75 is “well poised for growth”.
