New Zealand’s Rothbury Insurance Brokers has developed an app that lets clients check their policy details and examine open and recently closed claims.

MD Roger Abel says clients increasingly want easy access to key information such as sums insured, excesses, policy expiry dates and account balances.

Clients can contact their brokers and claims handlers directly via the app, available for iOS and Android smartphones.

“Innovative, modern businesses should be geared up to provide mobile apps that deliver useful information to their clients,” he said.
